Recently, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation released the Notice on the List of Funded Applicants for the 79th Batch of General Funding of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation in 2026 (Zhongbojizi [2026] No. 8). Following expert review and public announcement of the review results, 4,961 applicants were approved to receive the 79th batch of general funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. Our postdoctoral fellow Teng Luyang's project, "How Aesthetics Becomes the Driving Force of Inheritance: A Study on the Mechanism of Aesthetic Experience Expression in Intangible Cultural Heritage under the Context of New Popular Culture," was awarded this funding.
Dr. Teng Luyang joined the Postdoctoral Research Station of the School of Social Development at East China Normal University in June 2024, under the supervision of Professor Wen Jun. Her research focuses on modern folklore studies and cultural heritage, with particular attention to topics including urban culture, handicrafts, and the aesthetics of intangible cultural heritage.
